She felt the tips of her ears go pink. Reaching out and caressing his cheek whilst running fingers through his hair. "We have missed you but we are glad you are home." She had a gentleness to her that got a shiver down his spine softly, She had been this way since they found out she was going to have a little elf of their own. She really smiled though. "The baby has been restless for your return." She pressed his hand slightly and he felt what she meant but when he traced and spoke soothing her it soothed the baby. Both affected so much by him it gave him a sense of awe.

He could sit there on the ground by his love and soon to be child forever as he gently carseed her belly to help the little one to know that he was there to stay for now. He move his hand to Arsil's cheek and gently rubbing it as he smiled at her. He spoke of a story his mother used to tell him as a younge elfling. As he smiled with each part that brought back sweet memoires of him and his brothers curled up listing to their mother's voice.

She smiled as he told it and giggled when he finished. "your going to make a great father." She said gently kissing his cheek as she got up. Letting him help make dinner. She had cravings that he loved yet things he had never tried. Resting with him staying off her feet as he held her at night. Soon he would have a time to stay home off duty to welcome his elfling into the world. He was there for everything, the first heartbeat, first move and kick.

Rumil came to the doorway on the soltice of the start of Summer. Looking at Haldir "Go to Arsil while I get the midwife brother," He started pulling down blankets. "Arsil has fallen to labor." He gave it to him as he rushed out the door and down the flet stairs to get the midwife. Orophin was setting up the bed so her back was supported and more comfortable. Both had also gotten time off duty to help Haldir and welcome the new child

He gave a nod to Rumil and run to his love. "thank you brother." once he got into the room he moved to his love and kiss her cheek and takeing her hand and speaking solf words of comfort. "Thank you brother." as he looked to Orophin who had set up a bed for Arsil as he gently help her to the bed once he was done as he kept talking to Arsil and kissing her forehead waitting for the midwife and thier brother to get to them."I am here my love all will be well." he spoke over and over to her. He was not sure who he really talking to himself, her or the little one at the moment.

She was surprisingly calm though nervous, the midwife came and had the brothers get things. The labor eased by the comfort he gave, she had also had a soothing tea. The labor didn't last too long and a cry met the air and Rumil and Orophin helped clean and check over the infant that was a boy. But they became concerned when she fell to pains and weakness. The Healer telling them to step out with Haldir as he held his son. His brothers watched him pace but a second little cry met the air. The Midwife's assistant opened the door and smiled after moments had passed. "I would be quiet if you can, she's very tired. They both are." Stepping in Arsil was tired, a bundle against her chest gripping her tunic. A girl. She tiredly smiled to Haldir.Pulling the swaddling back a bit he saw the little girl.

He smiled as he kissed her forehead and telling her to rest and that she did well. and held their son in one hand as he runs his fingers of his other hand through her hair to help her fall to see as the baby girl looking up at daddy and smile across the baby girl as she close her eyes drifed to sleep. He smiled down at her as she fall sleep as the midwife end up shooing him out of the room for so she could rest.

She rested for a couple of days but moved about and started to feed the twins soft foods. Smiling as their son slept and their daughter stared at Haldir as if he was the most fascinating thing in the world. Her name Sildir and the boy Haldisir Sildir though was gripping his finger and watching him with grey blue eyes like her father. Quiet but she only had eyes on him even when he fed her. He was her own little world right now sending a shiver down his spine to know he had helped create her. This was apart of him and would be forever.

As the shiver when away he started to sing to his daughter as she keep ahold of his finger as if it just added to the connetion of her to him. As he was not really singing any know song he was just sing ramdon words out of beening in aww of their elflings.

It didn't take long for the Elflings to Grow as years passed now 11 his son was fitted in a rangers outfit and had his archer glove on, he was to go on inner patrol to learn to follow his father's footsteps and become a ranger. His daughter on the other hand dressed like her mother in a tunic more than a dress and was working in the forge with her today for she loved blacksmithing things.
