I slipped on my running shoes and put on a light sweater as it was a little bit breezy outside. "I am ready now." I said to her with a smile and I helped her get into the car. I then walked over to my side of the car and got into the drivers seat. I put my key into the ignition and backed out of the driveway I was excited for this appointment but I tried not to let it show too much. We got there 15 minutes early, so we decided to go and grab a coffee and then we made it back just in time to hear them call her name.

I got up and walked into the small room. I was told to lay down on the cusioned table. I was then told to lift my shirt up to my breasts and I did so. The next thing I knew there was a sock of cold on my stomach. He rubbed the holder thing all over my belly to focus in on the baby.

I was pretty much at tears. That was our child ... our little bun in the oven ... "awwweee Jellybean is soo cute! Isn't Jellybean cute Dear?" I asked with a huge smile, still trying not to cry ... This was the happiest and most proud I have ever felt ever!

I moved my dopple around the screen and much to my surprise there was another head and a body hidden behind the first body.
"Well I have some surprising news for you guys! You guys are actually having twins!! And by the looks of it." The nurse said as she moved the dopple around a bit more, "You are having a boy and a girl!"
I could not believe my ears. I held her hand a little bit tighter I was excited. Sure two kids was more than what we expected at first but I was happy as long as she was happy. And as long as the kids are healthy and good then I wouldn't care what sex they were. But we were going to have one of each and I was so very excited. I had so many questions to ask the nurse and the doctor. Oh boy. This was so exciting!

I smiled and was tearing up slightly. I was so happy to hear that we were having twins. It ran in my family. But I didn't think it would happen to us.
"I love you." I said to him and kissed his hand. With my free hand I rubbed my belly. I was truely happy. I was married to the man I loved and soon we would have two babies to share that love with.
