It was that time of year again. Valentines day at the hospital and world wide. She, to say the least, hated it. Hated how you could celebrate something so happy like that. Maybe it was because as a child she'd been beaten by her father. Maybe it was because her mother only turned her head as she went out each night, barely dressed to make money. Maybe it was because of the scar across her face from a boy at school she just covered up. She just never got the fact, even as an adult, that two people could love each other that much, until him.


He was bloody the day he walked into the ER, half away and bleeding from his face. Someone had beat the crap out of him. He was just fine until they started treating him. the short suppl;y of male nurses that day only one female treated him and he attacked her. Covered her in his blood as he'd pinned her to the floor as she'd been cleaning his face. He'd never seen so much fear in a girls eyes before. Had never seen a girl shut down like she did. As soon as she was on the floor under him, she went limp and basically passed out. They got him setter back and her carried from the room. He never saw her after that, he wants to say sorry for that day a year ago, and, go tell her in just those five seconds, he'd fallen in love with her.[

Bio: Lee is a vampire that stalks the night after being changed over 300 yrs ago but his past is hidden from him from when he was changed. At night he trys to fight best in with the humans but it doesn't always seem to work out the hunger the crave for there blood sometime gets to be to much where he has to take a human.
On night he fines himself in a fight with a human and ends up and the hospital ER where he runs into a very pretty girl. He can tell if she's a nurse or a doctor or what she is but her blood calls to him. Pinning her to the ground he trys to drink from her but never gets the chance without being caught, quickly leaving feeling sorry for what he has done. Wishing that he can take it back or atleast go back and tell her how sorry he was but why was he feeling like that those feeling don't come to a vampire and in those 5 seconds he's fallen in love with her.

I looked around the ER waiting room, calling of names of people to follow me into an exam room. Iwas the head Nurse down here, it was the graveyard shift as always. Once the peopel were situated, i wenttothe front doors nad proipped them open. Valentines day night, most were at home, with the one they loved, i on the other hand with my past and what happened a year ago...had never gotten close.

lerking outside the ER doors i see her coming. Running into the darkness so she doesnt see me i look at her watch her preopen them. man im soo pathetic watching her from afar when am i ever going to get a nerve and go talk to her I wonder if she got the flowers i sent her. Though she'll never know who there from i still hopes she likes them i mean its Valentines Day right who wouldn't like flowers from a serect person?

(I had one of the red tulips in my hair, the flowers were back in my office. Red tulips, it meand undying love. someone who sent them probably didn't know that...

seeing one in her hair as she turns away. Yes she got them and she likes them I hope she knows what they mean, I have to talk to her soon and tell her i sent her those roses and tell her im sorry for what i did a year ago. Wow im the worst vampire ever my sire would kill me if he knew i was like this over a human female.

I leaned in the dor way, staring out and up at he stars. i felt my back tingle, the scar that i had gotten when i was nine and had been sick i diddn't wnatto go to school and had missed the bus...i'd been beaten...i remembered the pain. the blood...

watching her look up at the star i see the moonlight shine down on her wow she's beautiful. Banging my fist against something I come slowly out of the shadows walking up to her so silently that she can't hear me I have to talk to her I just hope she doesn't freak and run from me. Standing alittle behind her i admire the way she look.

I felt a tear slide dwi9n my cheek and I closed my eyes, taking a deep breath, maybe i should have stayed home this year...

smelling salt a hearing her sniff i know that she is crying, inching closer to her i suddenly want to leave.
then she turns arounds and faces me and I freeze in sudden horrer that she'll run away screaming.

I smiled tomyself, "Can I help you?" I asked, drying my face.

shaking alittle when i hear her voice, struggling to find mind
"Umm yes I just wanted to ah tell you that I was very sorry"

I turned my headn tot he side, "I'm sory, do i know you?" I asked. i knew who it was the second i saw him i coun't move

"ya im the guy that umm that umm hurt you last year and I just wanted to tell you that im really sorry I didn't mean it and I hope you can forgive me"
looking at her she looks scared to be in my presences I hope me doing this eases her some bit.

I nodded slowly, "You were in shock...I was the only female and new on your case. its noghting new to me,"

Should I let her go without telling her the truth yet maybe she'll let me get to know her then tell her the truth gah so many decisions. "Do you like the flowers?"

I smiled softly relaxing a little more, "Sure. Come on, I'll get cold talking out here with out my jacket, we can go talk inmy office if you don't mind."

I shrugged, "Clearing my head," I turned away and headed back in.
