Tonight was the night of the ball. if you wish my first day view by the public as a true vampire prince. I was in my room putting on my tux and dress shoes.

Envi sighed as she looked at the grand doors to which would lead her into the ball. This was the only chance that she had to beg the kings favor for her readmintance into the chosen....Partly he could not make the decision but he could speak in her favor to the Scribe Virgin. She swallowed hard and picked up the ends of her skirt to make her way towards the door handle.

I walked down to the ball room 10 minutes before it started. I sat in the third lined up chair in the front of the room.

As soon as she was seen arriving she was taken to the ballroom. Not exactly where she wanted to go. She wanted to speak with the king but things didn't always work out that way. Besides herself there was only one other person in the ballroom and by where he was positioned he was the son of the king.

I saw a girl I'd never seen in court or at any other royal functions. She was quite beautiful.

Envi met eyes with the prince and felt her cheeks heat with a blush. Slowly she started to make her way up to him. "Many greetings sir." She said bowing deeply in respect. "I have come to ask council of your father."

Envi swallowed hard. "I was tricked out of my position and I was hoping that he would speak on my behalf to the Dearest Scribe Virgin. I pray that she pity me and let me back into the Chosen." She said her whole face red with embaressment.

"I can't promise he'll let you but I will try to get him to talk to the scribe virgin. But in the mean time...care to dance?" I said as i stood up and held my hand out

She swayed and swirled and fallowed his lead. He was excellent at dancing and she was having fun which she knew she shouldn't be doing. There were things that she should be asking but instead she was injoying the dance.
